A woman has died following a stabbing incident at a hotel on the west side of San Antonio, authorities confirmed.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers responded around 9:10 p.m. on April 18, 2026, to the InTown Suites Extended Stay near Culebra Road and Van Ness Road.
Upon arrival, police discovered a 63-year-old woman who had suffered multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A 36-year-old man was also found with what authorities described as self-inflicted stab wounds.
Investigators believe the two individuals were staying at the hotel together, though the nature of their relationship has not yet been confirmed.
The man was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Authorities have not released further details as the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
